Who We Are

With 11 years of experience in foresight, market research, and consulting across the Arab markets, as well as in African countries like Tanzania and Cameroon, and the American and Western European markets, I have provided strategic insights as part of a leading market research agency. My work includes consulting for startups, governments, the private sector, and international organizations such as GIZ, UNICEF, and UNIDO. I also collaborated on updating Egypt's 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy and developed an Export Strategy Roadmap for the Tomato Concentrate industry in Egypt. As the ex-Head of Exploration/Experimentation at the UNDP Accelerator Lab for 5 years—part of a global network of 91 labs and recognized as the R&D unit of UNDP—I leveraged collective intelligence, systems thinking, and future thinking consultancy to address sustainable development challenges. My efforts generated rapid learnings tailored to our fast-changing world and strengthened the development ecosystem in areas including agrifood systems, the role of women and youth in green sectors, access to finance, sustainable tourism, urban resilience, sustainable health, climate innovation, digitalization, tech entrepreneurship, and socio-economic resilience for the Sudanese community in Egypt. I co-worked on UNDP Egypt's Country Programme Document (CPD) sensemaking, led the development of a Futures Big Data Platform for UNDP Egypt (Egypt’s Horizon Scanner), and delivered training such as 'AI for the Future of Work' for UNDP Cameroon staff, along with 'Futures-Informed CPD Update using Horizon Scanning & Portfolio Approach' training for UNDP Cameroon staff and partners. I hold a dual MA in Law & Economics from Hamburg and Cairo Universities, as well as a BS in Economics and Statistics from Cairo University - English Section, equipping me to provide valuable youth startups services.
